Ultra-thin polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors (SZ CAPs) are a new type of solid-state capacitor that utilizes a multi-layered aluminum foil structure as the anode and a solid conductive polymer as the cathode. This design achieves characteristics of low ESR, low impedance, and high capacitance. These products are suitable for input and output current filtering in various power supply circuits, as well as serving as backup devices when load changes in CPU peripherals exceed the range. Their advantage lies in helping to reduce the number of components and saving substrate space.

Structure
Anode: Aluminum foil
Dielectric: Aluminum oxide insulation layer on the surface of the aluminum foil (formed by an electrolytic process)
Cathode: Conductive polymer
Packaging: Epoxy resin and silver paste (square structure)
Working Principle
Stores charge through dielectric polarization.
The conductive polymer material gives SZ CAPs lower equivalent series resistance (ESR) and more stable capacitance at high frequencies.

Can operate for 2000 hours at 105℃, suitable for high-temperature environments.

Does not explode or burn in case of failure, safer than tantalum capacitors.

No reverse piezoelectric effect, can replace MLCC components, avoiding noise or micro-vibration.
